Noe Valley Facade
This meticulous renovation in San Francisco’s Dolores Heights neighborhood reimagines a nondescript exterior into a crisp and contemporary facade. Located on an architecturally varied street with ornamented Victorians and historic infill buildings, the renovation introduces a modernist design language that feels both distinct and contextually responsive. Horizontal cladding references the more traditional surrounding homes, while new blackened steel brise soleils add visual depth and rhythm to the street-facing facade. The brise soleils also passively improve shading and daylight control, perfect for treasured sunny days in the Bay.
