Benloch Ranch, Utah - Phase 2

Dumican Mosey Architects was invited to design Phase 2 of this 2,500-acre development nestled into the rolling Wasatch County mountains. Our contribution includes masterplanning and prototyping home designs for various typologies on ninety-six separate parcels.

With the aim of introducing sophisticated design and an elevated feeling of modern mountain living to this ruggedly beautiful part of the world, our process has prioritized connection to and integration with the surrounding landscape.

The proposed residential offerings approach design through natural textures and materials easily integrated with its surroundings. Exteriors look to the site for inspiration, utilizing warm woods, natural stones, and weathered steel to provide depth to the built environment in a sophisticated, cohesive approach. Interiors focus outwards, bringing the environment’s natural beauty into the home through framed views to the mountains and complementing materiality that become an extension of the principals of the architecture and site.
